Presidential aspirant for the National Democratic Congress Party (NDC), Goosie Tanoh jabs delegates of the party not to repeat the mistakes of the prior to the 2016 general election.
He lament such avoidable mistakes caused the defeat of the party after years in government.
According to him many Ghanaians especially flooting voters rejected the NDC during the 2016 pools simply because they felt the party was not palatable to vote including it's own members.
He say, the party leadership were perceived to have thrown away the party founding principle of prohibity and accountability, social justice, grassroot participating in decision making and assumed a foreign culture that are aliens to the values of the party.
According to him, the leadership had betrayed the principles and core values over few years that leads to 2016 defeat. He therefore said there is urgent need for restoration of those morals in the party and urged candidates to elect him to lead the party and furthermore will not again defect to form any party as happened previously.
