Ghanaian Gospel Musician Uncle Sam ''Gye Me (Save Me)'', hit maker has accused Christian leaders for the collapsing of Gospel Music in the country.
He stated that, leaders of most church denominations will invite you for program and expect you not to charge them for your invite, but after the program give you what would be even less than your T&T. All in the name of the phrase "It's God Work", but forgetting that it's take millions of Cedis before you can record a 'hit track'.
He furthered up that, if you charge them as well, they will be using you as a preaching Topic, saying all sort of words about you destroying your credibility and image.
He added that, some of them goes to the extend of describing ghana gospel music as " soul poison medicine ", meaning it kills your spiritual inner being.
Uncle Sam stretched that when you go to most churches in our country, you can see so many people who can sing and get your heart melt without helping hand, but you see the leaders of the same churches driving in luxury cars, buying some for high rated celebrities who already have more than necessary in their possession.
He therefore appealed to the leaders of various denominations in our country to help built the collapsing gospel music in our noble country, for it is also another way of preaching the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ which is the mandate of every Christian.
