Great Britain is looking for a new piece to reconcile with the European Union. UK lawmakers have ordered Theresa May to return to Brussels and reopen her hard-won Brexit deal.
MPs voted 317 to 301 for May to seek new terms with the EU over the thorny issue of the Irish border.
Lawmakers also largely rejected a no-deal Brexit, with 318 to 310 approving an amendment that would seek to take the option off the table.
That amendment is not legally binding, but it shows that most British lawmakers don't want the UK to crash out of the EU without a deal.
Seven amendments in total were voted upon on Tuesday in an attempt to carve May's deal into shape that could command a majority.
