It has been Reported on Daily Guide that some legal team from Ghana, led by close friend of , Nana Appiah Mensah, Abeiku Santana, has reportedly visited Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) to defend and fight for Menzgold CEO NAM1.
It's alleged that NAM1 is standing trial in Dubai over his involvement in a purported $51 million gold scandal.
He was arrested in Dubai on December 7, 2018, following a complaint lodged against him by an Emirati firm called Horizon Royal Diamonds.
Many customers in Ghana have their investments locked up with Menzgold.
The whole misery of the company started after the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) directed Menzgold on September 7, 2018 to stop its unlicensed deposit-taking transactions with the public.
Abeiku Santana took it on Facebook by posting “when the Ghana legal team, led by Barrister Abeiku Santana arrived in #Dubai to defend #Nam1 @ Dubai, United Arab Emirates.”
